I recently flew to Singapore on flight 21 April 28, 2024. From the time I was greeted at the aircraft door your cabin crew was warm welcoming, smiling and dressed sharped in their uniforms. I've flown around the world and this was my first time on singapore airline. Jason was very attentive to all of my needs. Kelly did made sure my food was correct and it was served at perfect temperature. Mohan check made sure i stayed hydrated they did a beautiful dinner service and lunch service. Everytime I went to the bathroom Ploy had my favorite drink ready. Even though I was in premium economy they gave us first class treatment. I truly enjoyed everything from start to finish on my flight. Even though this is the longest flight in the world I was thankful for the comfort your crew provided me in this journey. Having this amazing crew will surely bring me back on your airline for my vacation travel to Asia. Please give them a special thanks from me. These are memories I will cherish.

On the surface Bacolod isn’t much more than your classic seaport destination, but take a closer look and you’ll see it’s a dynamic city with an enviable cultural heritage and a lively festival atmosphere. There’s a little something for everyone here, so you’re sure to unearth a little slice of your own paradise in Bacolod.
Begin your adventure at the Public Plaza before heading to the San Sebastian Cathedral. This beautiful building has an equally impressive interior that’s definitely worth seeing before heading on to the incredible Ruins in Talisay City. Surrounded by lush gardens lies the burnt out stone skeleton of an old sugar plantation. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch whilst you take in the incredible view. Once back in the centre of Bacolod, finish the day off in the Provincial Park, relaxing beside the man-made lagoon.
Don’t leave this charming region without visiting both the Negros Museum and the Dizon Ramos Museum. A trip here gives a unique glimpse into the historical and artistic traditions of the Bacolod region, both past and present. Or if you prefer, visit the Negros Forests and Ecological Foundation or Mt. Kanla-on Natural Park to witness some of the areas most endangered species in their natural habitat. As well as plenty of shopping malls and even a waterpark on offer, Bacolod’s Goldenfield Commercial Complex is the place to head when the sun goes down. It’s the perfect spot to try a few traditional dishes whilst enjoying the local nightlife.
Travelling by taxi or jeepney is ideal if you would like to be taken to a specific area before exploring on foot. Though if you prefer, rental cars can be picked up from the airport for those who wish to travel further afield. Rickshaw companies also operate in the central area, offering transport to other points of interest.
Most travelling to this region will fly into the Bacolod-Silay International Airport (BCD) where you can take advantage of several methods of ground transportation. Just outside the airport is a taxi terminal, but remember to agree your fee with the driver before they take you directly into the city. But if you really want to travel in Filipino style, then climb aboard a Jeepney. Many of these colourful vehicles have routes travelling directly into the city.
